Beauty School Associations
A beauty school association is an alliance between beauty schools to share different teaching methods, curriculum and any latest event occurring in the beauty industry. The disclosure of such ideas brings about harmony as eventually all these schools are together in providing cosmetology education to interested students.
The association widely recognized for accrediting beauty schools in the US is called as American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS). AACS is a national non-profit association that is open to all privately owned beauty schools around the US. The main aim of this association is to keep its members updated with the latest teaching methodology, current industry events and any updates shaping up the beauty world.
AACS usually conducts seminars, conferences and conventions so that its members remain updated with the latest news and trends around the year.
Apart from the regular updates, AACS also lobbies the accredited beauty schools participating in federal grants against the Department of Education. Therefore, AACS plays a pivotal role in ensuring that beauty schools are granted federal financial aids for deserving students.
